City of Clermont Partners With Swimming For Life
The City of Clermont has partnered with Swimming For Life to establish water safety programs and initiatives that provide drowning prevention education and increased access to swimming lessons. Swimming for Life will be offering a summer swim program starting June 5th through August 4th at the Clermont Arts and Recreation Center. This program will be open to everyone with emphasis placed on their scholarship program. Group lessons will be available for ages 18 months through adults. Lessons are taught by certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors qualified to teach Parent and Child Aquatics, Preschool Aquatics, Learn to Swim Levels 1-6 and Adult Swim Classes. The Cost for the group lessons will be $50 for eight (30 minute) lessons. Lessons will be scheduled in the morning and evening hours. Online applications for the scholarship program are available.
